Hello! I'm Camila, but you can call me Luppi, Cá, Cami, friend, teacher, colleague...

Born and raised in the ABC Paulista region in São Paulo, but truly attached to the capital, I'm a youthful senior woman who loves staying at home but also enjoys concerts, exhibitions, and engaging in hours-long conversations from the most trivial to the deepest with people I admire. I'm a proud advocate of the controversial term 'pet mom.' Beto, my dog, is my ultra master amazing buddy.

Music is my fuel and my rock, and as a true MTV kid, I grew up obsessed with music videos. Watching behind-the-scenes footage of the channel, I decided at the age of 15 that I would work in audiovisual. Curiosity drives me, and I can spend hours researching various topics, from interior design to the beat of a rap. Everything is creative fuel when you have attentive eyes.

I'm the younger sister of the first generation in my family to complete studies and attend college. I studied all my life in public schools and burnt the midnight oil in prep courses (where I studied and worked) to get into the best university in Latin America, University of São Paulo (USP), in one of the most competitive courses - Audiovisual, at the School of Communications and Arts. The hard work didn't stop there, and by my second year, I was already interning in the field. Some personal challenges made my last semesters difficult, but in 2013, I graduated (phew) and left the university as a fresh young professional ready to explore the market with full energy.
When I graduated, little did I know that the market would change so much in such a short time. I navigated through various platforms and roles, from editing and scripting for YouTube to freelancing as a korean drama subtitle translator (yes, really!), working as an assistant director for advertising, and landing at FOX. At FOX, I entered as a video editor in the Online/Digital department, where I learned a lot about streaming strategies. Still at FOX, I moved to the Original Productions department to oversee the creative coordination of productions for the new National Geographic channel, Nat Geo Kids!

My role covered everything from project prospecting and selection, through its complete development (scripts, team selection, casting, narrative elements, and all matters related to creative decisions), monitoring of shootings, episode editing, to the master's delivery. There was also significant interaction with other areas such as marketing, BI, Strategy, and Programming, among others. A few months into this new phase, my role expanded to cover all National Geographic channels, bringing me the opportunity to supervise dozens of projects on a national and pan-regional scope, which would later become part of The Walt Disney Company, encompassing brands like Star+ and Disney+.

Throughout these years in original productions, between Fox and Disney, with a focus on the National Geographic brand – which I have immense respect for and am proud to have been a part of a piece of its history – I had the opportunity to work in different formats for TV and streaming, participate in events in Brazil and abroad as a speaker and player in business rounds. I exchanged ideas with people who taught me a lot and selected a diverse range of projects, of which I had the pleasure of guiding the development and creative production process.

I have always seen the player-producer relationship as a great partnership. In these partnerships, I stood side by side with nationally and internationally renowned production companies, from children's animation to wild life documentaries.
